HYRO CURE 309

Dissipating resin emulsion curing compound

DOWNLOADS:

A dissipating resin emulsion curing compound that is compliant with all Federal EPA V.O.C. requirements. Ensures proper curing of concrete and reduces risk of scaling.

COmpliances

Federal EPA V.O.C.

ASTM-C-309

Features

Contains photo inducers to provide faster dissipation than other resin emulsions

Resin emulsion forms a membrane to seal against moisture loss

Retains 95% or more of the mix water in concrete for seven days, allowing for normal hydration

Usage

For use on interior, exterior, vertical or horizontal concrete substrates

Coverage

Non-spec jobs: 300-400 sq. ft./gal. (7.4-9.8 sq. m/L)

ASTM-C-309: 200 sq. ft./gal. (4.9 sq. m/L)

Packaging

5 gal./18.9 L pails

55 gal./208 L drums

Application

Stir with steel rod prior to use for 3-5 minutes until thoroughly mixed.

METHOD

Spray uniformly to form a continuous film for best results.

CURING NEWLY PLACED CONCRETE

Application should be made immediately following the finishing operation as soon as the bleed water has disappeared. This will provide better curing and hasten dissipation by not allowing the HYDRO CURE 309 to penetrate. On hot windy days, it may be advantageous to lightly fog concrete with water prior to application to keep HYDRO CURE 309 at the surface. If allowed to penetrate, HYDO CURE 309 will take longer to dissipate.

Limitations

Protect from freezing.

Do not dilute or alter in any way.

Resin emulsion takes longer to dissipate than solvent-based resins.

Always follow subsequent coating manufacturers' recommendations for surface preparation.

All resin cures turn yellow while they are dissipating (oxidizing). This is a normal part of the dissipation process.

Cleanup

EQUIPMENT: Between uses, within same hour, turn spray can upside down and purge spray lines with air to help prevent tip clogging. Clean sprayer with soap and water. Once dry, use Unitex CITRI-CLEAN or other approved solvent.

MATERIAL: Collect with absorbent material. Flush area with water. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal disposal regulations.

Cautions

Use in well ventilated areas

For industrial use only
